<div style="text-align: center;">Fig. 1. Differences between traditional 3D Gaussian-based hand-object reconstruction and our interaction-aware modeling. Conventional 3D Gaussian approaches model the entire HOI scene with a single, unified implicit field and rely primarily on 2D supervision. This design often leads to geometric ambiguities during close interactions—such as collapsed clearances, blurred contact boundaries, and non-physical merging of hand and object surfaces (top). In contrast, our method explicitly decouples hand and object representations into separate fields, introduces interaction-aware parameters $(w, o)$ to modulate occlusion and edge sharpness, and leverages interaction-aware losses to preserve fine-grained spatial relationships, enabling accurate and disentangled dynamic reconstruction (bottom).</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">Fig. 2. Overview of interaction-aware hand-object Gaussians. We propose a novel framework for reconstructing dynamic HOI scenes from RGB videos without object shape priors. The framework consists of three components: (1) Specialized Implicit Fields: separate hand, object, and background fields disentangle dynamic interactions, with hand/object fields capturing high-frequency deformations and occlusions (leveraging hand information for object's interaction-aware deformation) while the background field maintains low-frequency stability; (2) Interaction-aware Gaussian: enhances representation with adaptive weights w and radius o to address contour ambiguity and occlusions; (3) Progressive Optimization: combines explicit supervision with physical interaction constraints for efficient convergence.</div>

### 3.1 preliminaries：

 $$ \mathcal{G}(\boldsymbol{x})=\frac{1}{(2\pi)^{\frac{3}{2}}|\boldsymbol{\Sigma}|^{\frac{1}{2}}}\mathrm{e x p}(-\frac{1}{2}(\boldsymbol{x}-\boldsymbol{\rho})^{\top}\boldsymbol{\varSigma}^{-1}(\boldsymbol{x}-\boldsymbol{\rho})), $$

 $$ \begin{aligned}\mathcal{F}_{\theta}(\boldsymbol{x},\boldsymbol{t})&=(\delta\boldsymbol{x}^{t},\delta\boldsymbol{r}^{t},\delta\boldsymbol{s}^{t}),\\\boldsymbol{x}^{t}&=\boldsymbol{x}+\delta\boldsymbol{x}^{t}.\end{aligned} $$

 $$ \mathcal{G}_{\mathrm{H O}}=\left\{x_{i}y_{i}z_{i},R_{i},T_{i},S_{i},\alpha_{i},c_{i},w_{i},o_{i}\right\}. $$

 $$ \begin{array}{r}{\Delta\mathcal{G}_{\mathrm{H}}=\mathcal{F}_{\mathrm{H}}\left\{\gamma\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{i}\boldsymbol{y}_{i}\boldsymbol{z}_{i}\right),\gamma\left(t\right)\right\},}\end{array} $$

 $$ \begin{array}{r}{\Delta\mathcal{G}_{\mathrm{O}}=\mathcal{F}_{\mathrm{O}}\left\{\gamma\left(\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{i}^{k}\boldsymbol{y}_{i}^{k}\boldsymbol{z}_{i}^{k}\right)\oplus\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{j}^{k}\boldsymbol{y}_{j}^{k}\boldsymbol{z}_{j}^{k}\right)\right),\gamma\left(t\right)\right\}.}\end{array} $$

 $$ \mathcal{L}_{\mathrm{t r a n s}}^{\mathrm{H}}=\frac{1}{N}\sum_{i=1}^{N}\min_{\mathbf{v}\in\mathcal{V}_{h}}\left\|\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{i}\boldsymbol{y}_{i}\boldsymbol{z}_{i}\right)-\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{v}\boldsymbol{y}_{v}\boldsymbol{z}_{v}\right)\right\|_{2}^{2}, $$

 $$ \omega_{j}(t)=\sigma(w_{j}^{\mathrm{O}}), $$

 $$ \mathcal{L}_{\mathrm{r o t}}^{\mathrm{O}}=\mathbb{E}_{t}\left[\frac{1}{N}\sum_{j=1}^{N}\omega_{j}(t)\left\|\log\left((\mathbf{R}_{\mathrm{h a n d}}^{\mathrm{t a r g e t}}(t))^{-1}\mathbf{R}_{t,j}^{\mathrm{o b j}}\right)\right\|^{2}\right], $$

$\mathbf{R}_{t,j}^{obj} \in \text{SO}(3)$ 表示第 j 个物体高斯在时间戳 t 处的预测旋转，而 $\log(\cdot)$ 则表示从 $\text{SO}(3)$ 到其李代数 $\mathfrak{so}(3)$ 的对数映射。

 $$ \begin{aligned}\mathcal{L}_{interaction}=&\frac{1}{\max(|C_{H}|,\epsilon)}\sum_{i\in C_{H}}\min_{j\in C_{O}}\|\mathbf{p}_{i}-\mathbf{p}_{j}\|_{2}^{2}\\&+\frac{1}{\max(|C_{O}|,\epsilon)}\sum_{j\in C_{O}}\min_{i\in C_{H}}\|\mathbf{p}_{i}-\mathbf{p}_{j}\|_{2}^{2},\end{aligned} $$

---

 $$ \boldsymbol{w}_{i k}^{\mathrm{s p a t i a l}}=\exp\left(-\frac{\boldsymbol{d}_{i k}^{2}}{2\boldsymbol{o}_{i}^{2}}\right),\quad k\in\mathcal{N}_{K}(i), $$

其中 $\mathcal{N}_{K}(i)$ 表示第 i 个高斯对应的 K 个最近邻高斯集合，$d_{ik}$ 是高斯 i 和 k 中心之间的欧几里得距离，而 $o_{i}$ 则是与高斯 i 相关联的可学习半径参数。

 $$ \hat{w}_{i k}^{\mathrm{s p a t i a l}}=\frac{w_{i k}^{\mathrm{s p a t i a l}}}{\sum_{j\in\mathcal{N}_{K}(i)}w_{i j}^{\mathrm{s p a t i a l}}}. $$

---

 $$ \begin{array}{r}{\hat{\boldsymbol{w}}_{i}^{k}=\sigma(\boldsymbol{w}_{i})\cdot\hat{\boldsymbol{w}}_{i k}^{\mathrm{s p a t i a l}},\quad\mathrm{f o r}\quad k\in\mathcal{N}_{K}(i),}\end{array} $$

其中，$\sigma(\cdot)$ 是sigmoid函数，用于确保 $\boldsymbol{w}_i \in (0,1)$。

此外，我们查询手部隐式场 $\mathcal{F}_H$ 和物体隐式场 $\mathcal{F}_O$，以获得其各自的旋转矩阵 $\left(\Delta \mathbf{R}_{6D} \in \mathbb{R}^6\right) \to \left(\Delta \mathbf{R} \in \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3}\right)$（见补充材料）和平移偏移 $\Delta(\mathbf{x}_k^t \mathbf{y}_k^t \mathbf{z}_k^t)$。

 $$ \begin{align*}\boldsymbol{T}_{k}^{t}&=\left(\boldsymbol{x}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{y}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{z}_{k}^{t}\right)+\Delta(\boldsymbol{x}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{y}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{z}_{k}^{t}),\\\boldsymbol{\rho}_{i}^{t}&=\sum_{k\in\mathcal{N}_{K}(i)}\hat{\boldsymbol{w}}_{i}^{k}\left(\Delta\boldsymbol{R}_{k}^{t}((x_{i}\boldsymbol{y}_{i}\boldsymbol{z}_{i})-(\boldsymbol{x}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{y}_{k}^{t}\boldsymbol{z}_{k}^{t}))+\boldsymbol{T}_{k}^{t}\right).\end{align*} $$

<div style="text-align: center;">Fig. 4. Extrapolated novel view synthesis of our approach and SC-GS [^13]. Our method shows cleaner renderings from novel viewpoints with considerable change, whereas SC-GS suffers from noticeable artifacts.</div>
